Todd Gordon makes his debut appearance at Matt & Phred's. Recognised as one of Britain's leading jazz/swing singers, Todd is a regular performer at London's Pizza Express and other top jazz venues and festivals. He kick-started his professional career opening for Dionne Warwick on her UK tour in 2003, and his headlining concert in last year's London Jazz Festival (at the Royal Opera House) left audience and critics dazzled by his encyclopaedic knowledge of the music.
Tonight, Todd and his Quartet will be featuring songs from his new album, Ballads from The Midnight Hotel as well as other American Songbook classics and some lesser-performed gems. The band line-up includes: David Patrick, Jon Thorne, Eryl Roberts and Matt Nickson.
