The Blessing
Recently shortlisted for the prestigious 2008 BBC Jazz Album of the Year [CORRECTION - WINNERS OF], The Blessing make a triumphant [and loud] return to Matt and Phred's for the Manchester Jazz Festival

The Boats £6
An evening consisting of Boomkat D.J's, featuring Xella, Miles and Connor. Followed by an accoustic set before the Electro Accoustic Boats take the stage. Doors open at 7.30pm.

The Brown Exploding Organ Quartet

The Duke Ellington Golden Anniversary Party, £10
On the 23rd October 1958 Duke Ellington played one of his most memorable gigs at Belle Vue. One the same night 50 years later the Manchester Jazz Society have got together with the Alan Barnes Octet to pay tribute.

The Ed Kainyek Funk Extravaganza

The Minimum Trio
